POSITION SUMMARY:

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Accomplish sales goals
  • Gain/retain customers and ensure the revenue stream is profitable
  • Stay current on all new products and services
  • Make presentations to individuals or groups using standard Company presentation materials and be prepared to modify from time to time to meet specific opportunities
  • Present product samples as needed to customers or prospects for review and be capable of explaining the benefits and features
  • Use all mediums possible for gaining new business, including but not limited to face-to-face presentations, webinars, phone calls, and emails
  • Resolve conflicts or customer complaints in collaboration with other Company personnel
  • Assist in collection initiatives, when requested
  • Manage or attend Company, industry or customer trade shows and events which may require travel outside the territory

A well-qualified candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or two to four years of industrial sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three years successful outside B2B industrial sales experience
  • Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Suite of Applications including: Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, and PowerPoint; and proficiency in most common computer based business applications for outside sales associates
